- Prepare Doughnut Pans – Preheat the oven to 400 °F. Grease a doughnut pan with cooking spray.
- Dry Ingredients – Use a whisk to sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
- Wet Ingredients and Sugar – In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, eggs, sour cream, milk, and vanilla extract.
