To make it combine the ingredients and let the steak sit and soak in the seasonings of the mixture for several hours or overnight, depending on the thickness of the steak. After marinating, the steak can be cooked by grilling, broiling, or pan-searing, which imparts a rich, savory flavor and helps to tenderize the meat.   • Chop Herbs and Mince Garlic – Use a sharp knife to chop the Italian parsley and rosemary. Peel and finely mince the garlic.
  • Combine – In a shallow nonreactive dish whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, honey, parsley, rosemary, dry Italian seasoning black or white pepper, onion powder and seasoned salt until fully combined.

Check with an instant read thermometer inserted into the center of the thickest portion for a final reading of 115°F for rare, 130°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium, 160°F for medium-well, and 170°F for well-done.
  • You can make this marinade up to 2 days in advance and store chilled in the fridge in an airtight container.
